Private events:

 

 

The job of Makes and Bakes Staff is to lead activities, staff cannot run activities and supervise the behaviour of individuals. The customer is responsible for ensuring that workshops including particants under the age of 16 are supervised at all times by a responsible person aged 18 or over, who is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. the customer is responsible for ensuring all safety advice is followed by participants.

 

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that participants arive on time and the event begins and finishes within the agreed time frame. Failure to do so may mean staff will not be able to run workshops to our standards or at all.

 

Makes and Bakes aims to avoid nuts in all our Makes workshops however some ingredients may contain traces of nut or nut oils and may have been stored in contact with nut produces.

 

Makes and Bakes cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from any food allergy.

 

An allergen ingredient information will be made available upon request.

 

Without prejudice we reserve the right to refuse anyone we deem unsuitable for our workshops.

 

Participants take part in workshops at their own risk.

 

Customers are responsible for ensuring our workshops age limits are met.

 

We work with people of a range of abilities and ages as a result we cannot take responsibility if workshops produce varying results.

 

The Customer is responsible for ensuring Makes and bakes have access to the event venue and to appropriate facilities, including, without limit, by arranging, in good time and at the Customer’s own expense, all permits, licenses and permissions necessary to enable Makes and Bakes staff to gain access to the venue and perform the services. 

 

Makes and Bakes will not tolerate any abuse or threatening behaviour toward any of our team or abuse of the equipment. Makes and Bakes retain the right to terminate this contract immediately in cases where our team feel they are being abused or threatened, or the equipment is being, or are in danger of being, damaged due to the actions of any persons attending the Customer’s event

 

The Customer will be fully responsible for any loss or damage caused by the Customer or their guests or other attendees at the event in relation to Makes and Bakes' equipment or employees/contractors howsoever caused.

 

If Makes and Bakes staff deem the proposed location of the workshop unsafe then Makes and Bakes reserve the right not to set up.

 

Makes and Bakes will endeavour to ensure that requested colour, sent or theme choices are provided in our workshops, however, we reserve the right to make substitutions if these choices are unavailable from suppliers. 

 

 

 

 

Public facing or Corporate Events:

 

 

The job of Makes and Bakes Staff is to lead activities, staff cannot run activities and supervise the behaviour of individuals. The customer is responsible for notifying their guests that children under the age of 16 must have permission to take part in the activity from a parent or guardian. 

 

Children under 14 must be supervised at all times by a responsible person aged 18 or over, who is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This supervisor must ensure all safety advice given by Makes and Bakes staff is followed by participants.
